Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to hire your food truck?

To hire our food truck, the minimum cost would be £500+VAT. As a general rule, this price would cover around 50 people having our standard hot dog menu. However the exact price per head varies quite considerably as it depends on a number of factors such as numbers, menu choice, date, timings and exact set-up and serving requirements. What is included?

When we give you a quote, this is an all-inclusive price with no hidden extras. The price includes everything such as travel, set-up, chef, serving staff, cutlery, condiments and removal/recycling of waste.

How long do you serve for?

This will largely depend on numbers and your plans but we usually serve for around 2 hours. We can be super speedy if necessary, serving 400+ guests an hour. No hangry guests on our watch!

How long do you require to set-up?

This depends on which of our set-ups you have at your event. Our quickest set-up time would be with our food truck with which we can be ready within 30 minutes. Our 'pop-up' gazebo set-ups take longer and we like to give ourselves around 2 hours to set-up with these.

Can you use the kitchen at our venue?

Yes we can most likely use the kitchen, whether this be in your house, village hall, hotel or other venue. We would just need to chat with you about things such as space, equipment, access and serving area.

How many people can you cater for?

Everyone! One of our specialities is serving large groups of people in a fast, efficient manner. We are used to serving thousands of people at festivals so are comfortable with large numbers. We can also join forces with some of our street food friends to give your guests a great choice.

Can you cater inside my house or office?

Yes, no problem. We can adapt our set-up to suit your venue, whether it is a corner of an office space or somewhere in your house. We've got various equipment and menu ideas to suit different spaces.

Do you require electricity and running water?

If you have this great, if you don't, it's not a problem as we can provide power and water ourselves if necessary.

How do you prevent queuing?

Having worked in Michelin star kitchens, Dan has been trained to work in the most efficient way possible so as to not be in the sh*t (as they call it!). We have tried and tested processes in place as well as brilliant staff, to ensure all our food goes out quickly but most importantly maintaining our high standard.
